How Does Badger Subscriptions Work?
Visit our Previews listing to begin your subscription. Simply fill in the quantity for each book you wish to order. Once you are done go to the View Subscription page to make any final changes, then click Confirm. At this point you will be required to login or make an account if you haven't already done so. Once logged in if this is your first subscription order you will be required to select various options (shipping frequency, bags and boards, etc) as well as put a credit card on file. Once you are finished your subscription will be confirmed and your order will be placed with Badger Comics
There are a few features available with our service that make your monthly ordering even easier. The easiest feature is the AutoFill subscription. When you are logged in you will see an AutoFill button on the Previews and View Subscription page. As long as you have placed AND confirmed at least one order with us, the AutoFill feature will look at up to your last 12 months of confirmed orders and generate a current subscription order for you. It doesn't matter if the last issue came out three, four, or twelve months ago (good for Annuals), AutoFill will automatically add them as long as you ordered the last issue. What about issues that are canceled and resolicited? AutoFill will re-add those to your subscription as well. And that book you decided to drop last month? No worries there either as AutoFill will ignore any titles you previously dropped. Just remember that you will manually have to add the titles again if you decide you want the series at a later date. One click of the button and your subscription for the month is almost done!
Wait a minute, did they say almost? That's right. Unfortunately as most subscribers know, recurring titles are only part of ordering. There are dozens of new titles premiering every month. Fortunately, this is easily handled by our #1's filter. Located on the right side at the top of every Previews page is a link for Show Only #1's. Simply click this link and only the new #1's and #0's for the month will be shown. This is true of both comic books AND trade paperback series, for collectors who prefer to enjoy their comics in that format. In this same area you will also see other filters that you can also apply, including publishers, single categories, and search by keywords. You will also notice a link to Show Back Catalog items from Previews. These items are ones that were previously offered and are either being reoffered again or are continuously in print by the publisher. Also remember that filters stack, so if you show back catalog items but only #1's, it will also show all issue #1's that are being reoffered through the back catalog.
So there you have it. To create a subscription it's as simple as searching for the titles you know you want (or using AutoFill if you've already created a subscription), looking through the new series debuting this month, and searching for any other miscellaneous items you think you might be interested in; maybe even look at the back catalog items and see if something if being reoffered that you missed the first time around.
